Our speciality

A particular speciality of Allgaier Automotive is developing tank systems and producing them using production systems that we have planned and developed.

Our commitment

Developing tank systems represents a major challenge in terms of the expertise and technical knowledge of our employees in this area. As well as complying with all relevant statutory requirements for these safety-critical components, it is also necessary to take account of customers' wishes in terms of function and installation, with hardly any restrictions.
 

Our range of products and services

Our products and services in tank systems include project planning, development, design, prototype production, toolmaking, planning and start-up of the production systems for series production. Using innovative technologies in development and trialling leads to shorter development times.

Fuel systems are developed and produced in four phases:

• 3D design with consideration for the installation position in the vehicle, and with regard to the functions of the tank system
• Simulation of driving conditions with various fill levels in order to define the position and shape of the individual components
• Testing with prototypes on corresponding test stations and in the assembled vehicle
• Planning, procurement and start-up of the production device including tool design and toolmaking, with regard to information gained during the prototype and pilot series phases

Our partner

In April 2008, we signed an outline agreement with Daimler AG to develop and produce steel fuel tanks. The agreed cooperation is intended to expand former cooperation into an intensive system partnership for fuel tanks.
