Pioneer of screening technology

Fredrik Mogensen AB in the Swedish town of Hjo has been part of the Allgaier Group since 1995. The company drew attention to itself in the 1950s with the Mogensen sizer. The compact design, high performance and ease of maintenance of the sizers were regarded as ground-breaking in screening technology, and are still at the cutting edge today.

As well as their use in the foodstuffs and fodder industry, Mogensen classification systems are used in an extremely wide range of bulk goods applications all over the world.

Form follows function

Mogensen's expertise is based on the functional principle: Progressively angled screens with oversize mesh widths quickly separate the entire screening material. The danger of the screen becoming blocked is prevented by formation of a material bed or critical particle sizes. This leads to high throughput rates combined with consistent separation accuracy.

From the screen idea to the patent

The best examples of the company's expertise are the sizers and screens in the E series which have been patented for the USA, Europe and other countries. They are used successfully in the minerals, fodder, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs industries.
