Removing iron particles reliably from a product flow demands complicated apparatus.

Our solution

For the first time, the new Allgaier spiral rod magnetic grille permits continuous magnetic separation from a product flow without interrupting production.

Magnets arranged in a spiral layout on an iron rod generate a magnetic flux. Constant turning of the spiral magnetic rods continuously transports the separated-out metal particles along the protective pipe out of the product flow. The iron particles follow the rotating magnetic spiral into a separate chute.
